Gma Bees began with the simple idea of sustainability...taking old garments from the closet and merging them with a love for making quality patchwork textiles and quilts. Our goal is to create new textiles by combining recycled fabrics with new fabrics. Rather than getting rid of old fabrics, garments, ties, and scarves, and even wedding dresses that will never be reused, why not make these into something new, beautiful, and meaningful? 

​One way we accomplish our goal is by teaming up with you to carefully create a memorable custom quilt, made from your fabrics, garments, and accessories. We know every person has a special story to tell, and want to help you tell your story or the story of a cherished loved one together by creating a unique quilt design. Then you can leave the fine details of stitching it all together to professionals who take the greatest care constructing every precious quilt.

​Some people just need a gift, or something new to spruce up their home or wardrobe. So, we also achieve sustainability, and help people at the same time, taking new and old fabrics, and making fun, new products. We put our heads together and use our passion for creativity, sewing, and patchwork to design a variety of pre-made textiles, including garments, home accessories, bags, and seasonal items.  And, we make these available for purchase online.​

Gma Bee's is a small business owned by a female veteran and former human service professional who values integrity, commitment, diversity, respect, and service to others. The experience raising a child with special needs also truly contributes to appreciating wonderful individuality of people. These are at the heart of everything we do and everything we make for customers.​
